Red Funnel to give La Solitaire race village a taste of Cowes Food Show
Red Funnel will be bringing the highlights of its Island food show to the Solitaire Bompard - Le Figaro race village in Cowes Yacht Haven this weekend.
Spectators can expect a 'taste of the Cowes Food Show' at the sailing race from Saturday 25 - Sunday 26 June, where Red Funnel will be holding a mini food show to celebrate the best in Isle of Wight produce with a handful of great stalls.
Held all day throughout Saturday and Sunday, the show will feature local food and drink stalls such as The Garlic Farm. There will also be a live cookery theatre with local chefs giving demonstrations of some of their favourite season recipes for people to make at home.
The food show, along with the race event itself, will be easily accessible from the mainland thanks to Red Funnel's Red Jet discount. Passengers can purchase an £8.00 adult or a £25.00 family ticket (family of 4) by quoting 'Figaro' at the Red Funnel ticket office in Southampton.
On Sunday, the second part of the La Solitaire Bompard - Le Figaro race will begin from the Royal Yacht Squadron line, at the racing village.
