CG’s founding partner, Gill Gould, has been included in an exciting new exhibition celebrating International Women’s Day by featuring local female leaders.
Gill, who founded CG over 20 years ago, sat for photographs taken by students from City College Southampton along with her loyal and trusty companion, Scamp the dog.
The exhibition, which is being held at the college, aims to give an insight into how the students feel about equality, diversity and women’s rights.
Gill said:
“I was absolutely delighted to have my portrait taken and to be counted amongst the ranks of some incredible women. I think the exhibition is a wonderful idea and really celebrates what the event is all about.
“The theme for this year’s International Women’s Day is ‘make it happen’, and at CG we have a team of exceptional women – and men – who are all about making excellent things happen for our clients. No task is too big or small and we relish every opportunity to inject creativity into our work.
“I think Scamp loved the opportunity to be involved in the shoot as well; he became an honorary girl for the day!”
Sarah Stannard, principal at City College, said:
“It’s a delight to have Gill take part in the International Women’s Day exhibition, which is the students’ artistic response to influential people in their lives and community.
“Thousands of events will take place across the world to mark the economic, political and social achievements of women and we’re very proud to celebrate in our own way with the exhibition.”
The International Women’s Day exhibition is running at The Hub at City College Southampton until 6 March.
