Port Solent’s May Bank Holiday live music event is set to return on Sunday 26 May to give visitors a free, fun-filled day of entertainment from local talent.
Portsmouth-based sixties band, Mojo Dollar, will entertain guests with a mix of Mod, Motown, Blues and Beat. A favourite from last year, five-piece Portsmouth cover band, Cadency, will also be joining the line-up, with rock hits that will make visitors sing and dance the day away. New for 2019, The Polos, a four piece outfit from Portsmouth will be performing psychedelic soft rock.
Lisa Fowler, Events and Marketing Manager, said: “Port Solent has been hosting live music events for many years and we’re excited to announce another great event for the local community to enjoy over the bank holiday weekend. We had a great turn out last year and it’s a brilliant way to celebrate the long weekend, for free.
“We’re pleased to welcome back Cadency who were a huge success at last year’s event and look forward to welcoming our new acts, Mojo Dollar and The Polos. We hope everyone enjoys the event and that we’re treated with some sunshine!
“With 15 bars and restaurants to choose from, there is a huge choice of food and drink available for anyone wanting to extend their visit, and with free parking, visitors can sing, dance, eat and enjoy the music for as long as they like!”
