CG showed its dedication to local businesses and education by sponsoring a prize at City College Southampton’s annual awards evening.
The Carswell Gould Large Employer Recognition Award was presented to Elle Gaffney of Lovell Partnership Plc by The Right Worshipful and Mayor of Southampton Councillor Sue Blatchford at a glitzy ceremony at the college.
Lovell was nominated for the award because it works closely with the college to provide guest lecturing and work experience placements, as well as having employed five full-time students as apprentices in June 2014.
CG’s managing partner, Gill Gould, said:
“It’s so important for companies to improve the skills of their staff and support apprentices, and Lovell is leading the way in this. Carswell Gould is very proud to have worked with City College for many years and to have witnessed first hand the difference it makes when companies support their staff with the college’s exceptional training opportunities.”
The event was attended by Gill Gould, Laura Downton, Rosie Wiseman and Dan Evans from CG, who enjoyed the opportunity to have their photos taken with The Right Worshipful and Mayor of Southampton Councillor Sue Blatchford.
