Youngsters at Bitterne Youth Football Club are sporting a new kit for the new season thanks to help from local business, Elliotts.
The South’s largest independent provider of building products for the trade and public is normally known for helping people build. However, it regularly digs deep to support local groups and charities and its sponsorship of the Bitterne team is the latest example.
Managing director Tom Elliott said: “The communities we work in are so important to us and we are delighted to be able to help Bitterne Youth Football Club. Many of our staff, customers and suppliers have fond memories of playing in youth teams and we hope our sponsorship will help create even more of those for the next generation of sports stars.”
Bitterne Youth Football Club will make good of the new kits supplied by Elliotts with approximately 20 fixtures coming up in the next seven months.
Manager Matt Roberts said: “We are extremely grateful to Elliotts for its generous donation. Supplying the kits means the team doesn’t have to worry about funding it themselves and can focus on the exciting season ahead.”
Fellow manager Terry Foster added: “The new kit has brought good luck to the team, they won their fist match 4:3.”
