Carswell Gould work with the BMIF to promote a pirate themed Boat Show 2006 The team at leading South Coast marketing communications agency Carswell Gould, have been seen across the county in recent days working with the British Marine Federation and the Jubilee Sailing Trust to launch the Southampton Boat Show 2006 in association with ITV Meridian.
The Boat Show 2006, officially launched by TV personality Ben Fogle in August, has a pirate theme and this weekend Southampton, Portsmouth and Bournemouth came under siege from swashbuckling pirates promoting the 2006 show.
West Quay shoppers saw the story of Captain Blowhorn and his ship the Jammy Dodger played out by actors, and face painters were on hand to decorate childrens faces with skulls and crossbones.
Shoppers were given Jubilee Sailing Trust eye patches to help them get in the spirit, as well as Pieces of Eight scratch cards with the chance of winning discounts on show tickets, money off magazine subscriptions and even a boat!
