The company is proud to announce the forthcoming launch of their new "contractor" based range of adhesives. The new range of adhesives will be managed by recently appointed Sales Manager, Tim Absolom, who will be focusing on the development and growth of the core products. Tim has extensive knowledge of the industry, coming from a contracting background as a "hands-on" installer and more recently with 2 of Europe's leading adhesive and screed manufacturers.
The original adhesive range has been closely examined and re-formulated following extensive testing and advice from some of the industries leading installers at their production facility based in South Ruislip Middlesex.
The new range of adhesives include:
STK 200 is a very low V.O.C (EC1) Pressure Sensitive adhesive suitable for most Carpet, Vinyl and Rubber (up to 2.5mm) installations using Wet, Semi-Wet or Pressure Sensitive methods. It has a coverage rate of up to 70m2 per bucket.
STK 400 is a very low V.O.C (EC1) easy to trowel, non-staining, solvent free water based adhesive suitable for Hessian, Action back, Felt, Gel and Latex backed carpets. It has a coverage rate of up to 45m2 per bucket.
The range of products will not only include the industry standard adhesives but also smoothing underlayments and a damp proof membrane.
Stikatak are the UK's only licensed manufacturer of Very Low V.O.C products endorsed by the GEV Emicode (Europes Governing body). This is a principle and belief Stikatak feel very strongly about. Their focus is to keep emissions to their absolute lowest, whilst ensuring product quality is never compromised.
Stikatak are firm believers that to ensure a perfect quality installation, the products used should be compatible with each other. They will guarantee a perfect job when using their tested range coupled with the installation guide. They will also offer on-site service and technical back up throughout the UK.
The new range will be branded independently and complimented by a matching product and installation guide to include a recommendation chart for the most popular type of floor coverings.
