Southampton Solent University has awarded a Visiting Fellowship to Ed Gould, creative director and partner at Southampton-based integrated marketing communications agency, Carswell Gould.
The title has been conferred in recognition of Ed’s contribution to the university and his company’s commitment to the education sector.
Ed has worked closely with Southampton Solent University for the past decade and regularly presents to the university’s marketing students, motivating them with his skill and experience. On a higher level, he has also worked with the university to develop its curriculum across marketing courses.
On receiving the title, Ed said: “I am honoured to receive such an accolade. We are passionate about inspiring the next generation of creative professionals and I feel humbled that I have been recognised for that commitment.”
Carswell Gould has been working with the South’s educational establishments for many years helping improve marketing and communications at Southampton Solent University, the University of Southampton and City College Southampton.
This is another aspect of the important work carried out by CG which shows its dedication to the sector. Carswell Gould will be exploring new links with other universities and colleges and aiming to develop better training for creative and marketing teams.
Southampton Solent University awards the title of Visiting Fellow to distinguished partners from professional organisations, who are closely associated with the University through collaboration in teaching, research, consultancy or advice.
