On 28 July, Port Solent celebrated its 30th birthday in style with an entertainment packed day and evening themed by the decade where it all started, the eighties.
It’s exciting for the Carswell Gould team to be working with Port Solent during such a landmark year and we’re thrilled so many visitors are joining in to celebrate. Saturday’s event saw the Lord Mayor of Portsmouth join the celebrations which included live music from The Bootlegs and It Must Be Madness, an outdoor cinema showing ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit’, comedy street theatre, magic entertainment and more.
The Lively Lady, which was the very first boat to visit the marina when it opened, also made a triumphant return in the afternoon. Port Solent’s next large event is the hugely successful Prosecco Festival on 20 October 2018 - find out more and purchase your tickets here.
