Carswell Gould, one of the South's leading full service marketing communications agencies, has appointed Jennie Davies as new office manager. Jennie is not only responsible for maintaining the smooth running of the agency, she is also motivating the Carswell Gould team to stamp out their bad habits especially today National No Smoking Day.
Firstly, coming in line with recent government legislation banning smoking in public places from summer 2007, Carswell Gould has prohibited it already in the office and all Carswell Gould vehicles.
‘Our teams health is very important to us and that is why we have made this happen a year before the government ban comes in' commented Ed Gould creative director. ‘I smoked for years and thanks to Jennie's support and the new ban have finally managed to quit.'
The introduction of the smoking ban is part of a wider remit to make Carswell Gould a healthier and more socially aware company which includes the introduction of Fair Trade goods in the office kitchen.
With Fair Trade fortnight (6 - 19 March) fast approaching Jennie instigated Carswell Gould's real commitment to the scheme, and now they only consume Fair Trade hot drinks in the office.
