Red Funnel customers travelling between Southampton and the Isle of Wight will be treated to a set from The Lion and the Wolf on Saturday 24 October.
Tom George, from the Isle of Wight, also known under his performing moniker, The Lion and the Wolf, is often found travelling on Red Funnel to one of his many performances around the UK and Europe. On 24 October, he'll turn from passenger to entertainer and play an exclusive acoustic set just for Red Funnel customers on the Red Falcon vessel from 10.30am-2.30pm.
Described as "one of the UK's most promising singer-songwriters", the folk rock artist has performed at the Isle of Wight Festival, Blissfields, Ventnor Fringe Festival and 2000 Trees. Red Funnel supported the Lion and the Wolf on his way to a German tour this month.
Tom George, of the Lion and the Wolf, said:
I'm very grateful to Red Funnel for helping me get to my gigs in Germany recently and I thought the best way to repay them would be to do a performance for the staff and customers this half term. I'm looking forward to playing to a new audience and I hope I'll keep everyone entertained on their journey."
