CG's Laura tested out her sea legs on Tuesday as she took part in a sailing day with the Red & White Appeal.

The day was held to thank companies that have supported the appeal and CG was invited after lending its marketing expertise to the campaign. CG set up a state of the art email marketing system that lets the charity create, send and measure creative email messages to help the fundraising team drum up support. 

eBuild's detailed reporting tools mean the charity team can track who reads each email and who clicks on links, building a profile of those on their lists.

CG also designed a bespoke digital templates for the charity, helping it to send messages that are on-brand and easily recognisable and exciting. Once all the work was created the CG team spent time training and mentoring the Red & White appeal team in the best way to use to tools. 

The Red & White Appeal aims to raise £2.2million to create a specialist treatment centre for patients with leukaemia and other blood disorders from across Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Wiltshire, Dorset, West Sussex and the Channel Islands.

Laura said: "As someone who lives with a blood disorder this is very worthy cause and one CG was very happy to help. I hope that our emarketing expertise will help the team to raise the money needed to build the treatment centre, which will provide vital support to people across the south."
