Carswell Gould proved its commitment to nurturing the PR professionals of tomorrow as it shared its expertise with students at Southampton Solent University last night.
Laura Downton, a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and committee member for the Wessex region, went along to give advice to budding PR professionals as part of the CIPR's Meet the Professionals event.
Having been shortlisted for Outstanding Young Communicator of the Year by the CIPR, Laura knows what it takes to make a top PR practitioner and she was only too happy to impart her wisdom on the students.
She said: "It was a brilliant chance to meet with young people who are at the start of their careers. The projects they are working on sound fascinating and I'm sure they will, coupled with events such as Meet the Professionals, will help prepare them for the exciting world of PR."
