You are invited to join us and become a ‘cultural playmaker’ at this new unique, two-day conference in June.
It’s an interactive event that will explore, debate and further the cause of culture in our city. Exciting speakers from across the UK will join key decision-makers, city champions, businesses, cultural organisations and universities for a programme of workshops, talks, panel discussions. There will also be special evening events that will inform, entertain and challenge. The aim is to galvanise support from within Southampton to recognise the value of embedding culture into the future ambitions of the city.
We will delve and understand the potential impact that culture has on the economic and social wellbeing of our city and its communities.
We hope that you’ll join us at this event, which once again demonstrates the commitment that key organisations and businesses are making to the economic development of the city and the wider region. Cultural City is presented by Southampton Cultural Development Trust in partnership with Southampton Solent University, University of Southampton, John Hansard Gallery, Nuffield Southampton Theatres and Southampton City Council.
