Carswell Gould's five-a-side football team Kashima Antlers has managed to beat small children and actually win a game of football again. By focusing on the basics and trying to make a change, the team, whose track record is appalling, is now making positive strides in the right direction. By keeping their shape and concentration, plus by fouling the aforesaid small children and deliberately pushing them out of the way, our team pulled off a 5-3 win against what looked like Harry Potter United.
“I was so pleased to win, as it stands testament to a new outlook the team has. We are going back to basic skills like passing and moving without falling over. Next week we hope to add scoring and not shouting at each other to our list of abilities,” commented Ed Gould - defensive striker.
If you are looking for a game and have a five-a-side team that needs some practice, get in touch, as we are always up for a challenge. We also need a striker to play on Wednesday nights.
