Business leaders from across Hampshire and Dorset will come together next month for the latest in business and financial adviser Grant Thornton’s Growth Insights Breakfast Club programme.
The breakfasts, set to take place in Bournemouth (November 3) and Southampton (November 6), follow the firm’s popular events in September where delegates reflected on how their businesses had developed over recent years and asked the question ‘what’s possible?’ for their organisations over the next five years.
Grant Thornton’s recent manifesto, Agents of Growth: The power of mid-sized businesses, shares the view that if government listened to the firm’s recommendations for quick fixes and game changers, medium-sized businesses (MSBs) could contribute an extra £50billion to the UK economy over the next five years.
The series of breakfasts will delve further into the possible themes and trends which could influence the region’s businesses over the next five years and the potential impact this may have on their growth. Delegates will explore and challenge the assumptions they are making about the markets they operate in, and how this plays a role in their strategic plans to reach their growth ambitions.
