For the second year in a row, Carswell Gould’s daring designer Karl March is set to take on the ABP Southampton Half Marathon on April 24.

Karl has accepted the challenge and is training by taking timed runs on the weekends. Having completed the exhausting 13.2 miles in 2 hours and 5 minutes in 2015, he aims to complete the testing race in less than 2 hours.

With a target of £250, he will run in aid of one of The Right Worshipful the Mayor of Southampton Councillor Linda Norris’ chosen charities, Rose Road Association.

Karl said: “Having worked on recent projects with Councillor Linda Norris, I’m honoured to be taking up one of her spaces and as the best connected agency on the south coast, Carswell Gould has close links to Rose Road Association so I know I’m running for a very worthy cause.

“My involvement all stems from my participation last year. I had so much fun and now know what I’m able to achieve. I wanted to do something positive, which is why this time around I’m running for charity.”

The Carswell Gould PR team has been busy behind the scenes working to create a buzz around the ABP Southampton Half Marathon and 10K 2016, securing huge coverage hits in the media, undertaking interviews and briefing photographers for the big event.
