Visiting seafarers at Cowes Yacht Haven are enjoying faster internet speeds now that the marina and WightFibre have installed a new, free high-speed Wi-Fi service across the whole site.
WightFibre has installed an entirely new technology infrastructure including two new fibre optic cables into the site and 10 new WiFi access points across the marina. This ensures every boat receives the very best speeds.
Hundreds of users at any one time will be able to access the internet for free on the 1Gb (1000 Mb) network. This will allow them to browse web pages, access apps and update social media channels.
A premium paid-for service is also available for those looking to stream films or television at the low price of only £3 per day, £5 for three days, £10 per week or £25 per month.

The service will not only delight seafarers visiting Cowes Yacht Haven but is also flexible enough to cope with the peak demands during busy periods such as Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week when the marina is home to up to 260 visiting boats.
