The Solent Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) is seeking seven of the most driven and knowledgeable business and voluntary sector leaders in the region to join its panels and provide strategic advice on key economic issues in the Solent.
A total of nine opportunities are available on a range of Solent LEP Panels, including:
• Business Investment
• Employment and Skills
• Innovation and Business Support
The Solent LEP is seeking private sector representatives to join all of the above panels and, alongside welcoming applications from business leaders of all sectors and sizes, the Solent LEP is also looking for representatives of the social enterprise, voluntary and community sector to get involved in the work of the LEP on the Employment and Skills and Business Investment panels.
Brian Luff, Chair of the Solent LEP's Business Support Investment Panel, said:
"Over the last year, the LEP has invested over £40m across the area and is working to deliver a further £44m this year to stimulate growth in the Solent. Panel members have a key role to play in shaping the LEP's ambitious economic strategy, informing key investment decision and helping drive growth and economic prosperity in the Solent."
