Phil Bennett, web developer at Southampton's number one integrated agency Carswell Gould, was on a winning team at Pub Hack.
A technical hackathon held in a Portsmouth pub, Pubhack challenges entrants web and mobile technology ability.
Six teams of four of Hampshire's best technical developers competed over 10 hours to produce something inspired by the one word brief: 'postapocalyptic'.
Phil's team won the award for best design after producing an innovative top-down, 2d multiplayer game that used mobile phones as controllers.
Phil said: "It brought a lot of people together from the region's technical world and it was a great event. It gave all the teams an opportunity to try out tech stuff you wouldn't normally get a chance to use in day-to-day customer briefs.
"Our game - Apocalhipster - was quite simple but the technical challenge of getting the phones talking to the server using node.JS and web sockets was significant."
Phil is a versatile web developer specialising in PHP, MySQL and JavaScript, with eight years experience across the industry, Phil combines expertise in both large data projects and advanced coding skills.
