New Milton Sand and Ballast, the Hampshire-based aggregates company, will feature on TV tonight, after coming to the rescue of a family whose home was destroyed by cowboy builders.
NMSB leant a hand to Channel 5’s Cowboy Builders programme, which was filming at a house in the south. The TV show travels the UK, visiting homes that have been left devastated by rogue builders and helping their owners put them back together.
The production team called in the services of NMSB to help remove rubble and waste at the house featured on tonight's programme. With NMSB’s SMS skip service being second to none in Hampshire and Dorset, Channel 5 knew it could rely on the company’s help.
Staff from NMSB were on hand to help and were lucky enough to meet the show’s presenters, Dominic Littlewood and Melinda Messenger.
NMSB’s Managing Director, Trevor Poole, said: “When we got the call from Channel 5 we were more than happy to help. I have watched the programme myself and seen the heartache these people go through.
“Having four waste stations across the two counties, we are able to supply suitable skips for everything from simple garden waste to commercial rubbish and recycle some of the contents, turning them into secondary aggregates, soil and compost.”
