CG headed to Bournemouth University earlier this week to deliver a guest lecture on the challenges of online communication for reputation management.
Laura and Kornelia delivered a talk to a group of PR students, drawing on the example of the award-winning GORE-TEX® Arctic Challenge campaign.
The talk outlined the differences between consumer and corporate communications and how to use social media tactics to raise the reputation of products and organisations. The presentation aimed to demonstrate the importance of the ‘big idea’ and how similar tactics can be used in a diverse range of sectors.
Pawel Surowiec, lecturer in Public Relations at Bournemouth University, said: “We’re delighted to have had an opportunity to host the guest talk. It’s very important that agencies, such as Carswell Gould, engage professionally with students and support the development of future practitioners by offering insights into their everyday practices and by offering placements for our students.”
