Businesses in Hampshire came together to celebrate the first-ever South Coast Business Awards on Friday 15th July.
Carswell Gould, amongst other industry leaders from across the county gathered at Southampton’s De Vere Grand Hotel for the inaugural glitzy award event.
Before the awards kicked off, guests were treated to the witty humour of John Sergeant who got the evening underway.
The night was a huge success for CG with two of its clients, PSP and Peach Telecom, both shortlisted in their categories.
Frank Dixie, PSP’s Managing Director was nominated and won Business Individual or Entrepreneur of the Year. The Hampshire company provides worldwide freight forwarding, express courier services, boat transportation, marine spares and packing, to the commercial marine industry.
The privately-owned firm, led by Frank Dixie, has a multi-million pound turnover and is on course to take on its competitors and become a major market leader.

Peach Telecom were also shortlisted in two out of the nine categories, for Best Use of Technology and Growth Business of the Year Award. This young and rapidly developing company has already had huge success this year and recently been named Overall Reseller of the Year at the Comms Business Awards.
The whole team were out in force for the glittering event and CG were proud to bear witness to the arrival of a great Hampshire organisation that is really going places in the telecoms industry.
