Marketing Communications agency Carswell Gould has recruited one of the latest talents to emerge from Southampton Solent University. Recent graduate Liz Batley has been appointed Junior Account Executive, and will be assisting the PR team with all aspects of the accounts.
The past three months has seen Carswell Gould win numerous new accounts across each of the departments, and management is constantly on the lookout for the right people to continue moving their clients' businesses forward.
Becky Holmes, Head of Public Relations, is very pleased to be welcoming Liz on board: “We interviewed a lot of people for this position but Liz shone through. The research she had done and her enthusiasm for PR proved to us how committed she was. Everyone will soon be able to see some of the creative work that Liz undertook whilst at University, working with Southampton City Council to help raise awareness of the importance of recycling to the Polish Community in the area. This is a great example of her research and creative skills, and I will put them to good use in her new role”.
Liz herself is keen to get stuck in straight away: “Starting my career at Carswell Gould is a dream come true, and with such a diverse array of clients I couldn't ask for a better introduction into the world of PR”.
