CG Adventures is a service that helps brands deliver their messages through the medium of adventure.
It is being launched following CG’s award-winning work to promote RIBs (Rigid inflatable Boats) through the GORE-TEX® Arctic Challenge.
CG Adventures delivers success through action. The initiative offers you a new way to communicate with targets using a proven, multi award-winning approach that can be initiated immediately, alongside ongoing marketing activity.
It’s an approach that delivered a 19 million campaign reach for GORE-TEX, helped the University of Southampton successfully celebrate ‘60 years of changing the world’, and saw the Power Boat and Rib Show get off to a flying start when Bear Grylls raced across the Solent.
Staying front of mind is one of the biggest challenges that face any business. Our customers are subjected to countless ‘me too’ marketing messages every day. To cut through the noise and stand out we need to do something different and remember the value of a good story.
CG Adventures turns its clients into heroes, placing them, their product or their organisation front and centre of dynamic stories that engage, excite and entertain.
Most importantly we bring key messages to life though demonstration of your product features, skills, people, personality, reach, capability, history - and even your future.
After all, why would you rely on just telling someone your engine is the best in the world when you can show them it performing?
Ribs to the Limit and GORE-TEX® asked us to promote RIBs and their capability.
Rather than coming back with a standard plan of advertising, PR and design, we came up with the idea of putting eight people in RIBs and challenging them to cross from Scotland to the Arctic Circle in six days.
“The result was something very real that physically showed the capability of these boats and captured the excitement of the public. Supported by traditional marketing methods such as PR, social media and web work, it resulted in a campaign that had a reach of 19 million people worldwide.”
CG Adventures will not just be restricted to sports or marine companies. CG is already speaking to a number of businesses, ranging from professional service providers to transport firms, about creating an ‘adventure’ approach to their marketing briefs.
