THE team at Carswell Gould has helped launch the Southampton branch of the South Coast Design Forum. The city centre agency is a keen advocate for the forum and has helped out at both grassroots and strategic levels.
Ed Gould, Carswell Gould's Creative Director, sits on the steering group of the Southampton branch and has been involved in the organisation of the launch. He will also be a speaker at the launch event on July 24.
Ed and his team have delivered communications collateral for the event, including digital, using their own online e-marketing tool, eBuild. The system enables users to design creative e-mails, send them out to as many people as they wish and collect statistics on who has opened it and whether they have clicked through to the user's website. The digital team is now offering eBuild for use by all members of SDCF. It is extremely cost-effective, simple to use and a proactive way of marketing.
Ed said: "The whole team at Carswell Gould is very keen to help SCDF in any way it can - whether it's speaking at events, sitting on the committee or using our creative skills to design invitations, posters or brochures. The forum is so important to the south because it gives designers here a voice as well as a support network. It proves that there is a lot of talent to shout about and that you don't have to be in London to be a good design agency."
