On Friday the agency was shortlisted in two categories of the CIPR (Chartered Institute of Public Relations) PRide awards.
And now CG has been named as a finalist in the ‘eCommerce Website of the Year’ category in the Wirehive 100 Awards.
The Wirehive 100 Awards and League Table showcase digital excellence, recognising the outstanding work and exceptional individuals from digital agencies.
CG has been shortlisted for its design and build of a new website for premium wallcoverings supplier, Tektura. The company wanted a website to reflect its product excellence and present its outstanding products and service in a focused and modern web experience.
CG produced a custom built site using Backbone.js, Symfony 2 and Apache Solr, adding in functionality for users to create moodboards, upload their own images for inspiration, and arrange virtual wallpaper swatches.
Angela Paterson, marketing director at Tektura, said: “We needed a website that not only looked good but one that supported our sales function and improved our visibility. Carswell Gould worked closely with us to develop a bespoke solution that works hard for our own team and our customers. They now find it easier to explore our extensive ever-growing range, order samples and place orders online. The proof's in the pudding; a 17-fold increase in sample orders as well as a reduced bounce rate and increased dwell rates.”
