GILL GOULD and members of the CG team rushed out with refreshments when they spotted members of the Royal Corps of Signals from Blandford, setting up their mobile promotional trailer outside the Carswell Gould offices at the Bargate.
30 Tri Service personnel are on a 285-mile journey from Plymouth to the Tower of London, but this part of the team wasn't too busy to break for a quick cup of coffee!
The troops are on a five-day, non-stop walk, carrying a stretcher bearing a Roll of Honour of ALL the servicemen and women injured on operations in recent years, including, of course, Afghanistan and Iraq. They hope to raise money and awareness for the Help for Heroes Charity and believe this is also an excellent way for serving soldiers to pay tribute to their comrades.
Representing Southampton is Pte Taylor-Rice, pictured far left, front row.
