Not all webinars are created equal.

Creating compelling online events is not simply a case of switching on Zoom and starting to talk. Here’s how we curated, developed and hosted a deliciously well-attended virtual food event.

This is the story of how we launched a new and unique research group called Food Cultures in Transition by staging a highly engaging and well-attended virtual symposium called Futures for FoodWorking with our client, we helped to transform their idea of an online event into an effective engagement activity to attract a worldwide audience of influencers.

This project came at a time when remote working and social distancing forced many brands to utilise virtual events as a key part of their marketing mix. Our own focus on live and virtual events is a big part of how we help reshape traditional marketing strategy. You can read about our New World Marketing methodology here.

Futures for Food Live, is a great example of how we cunningly mixed all of our agency capability together to create a better final outcome.

Future of food

"Carswell Gould delivered an effective campaignin the most efficient and professional manner. Our aim for the event was to raise the profile of food research at the University of Portsmouth and to launch the new Food Cultures in Transition."

"We had a very short delivery timescale. Ed and the team at Carswell Gould helped us to refine our message and define our identity as a group. They worked fast to create visually appealing media, in keeping with the University's branding, and to help with the logistics of running the event online."

We used great live sketches to capture every moment.

I was really happy with it.
No technical glitches!
